3. Hosting and Server Log Files
Our website is hosted on servers provided by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. When you visit our website, the server automatically collects "Server Log Files" (IP address, browser type, timestamp). This is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR to ensure technical stability and security. We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Hetzner.

4. Analytics and Optimization

  • Plausible Analytics: We use a self-hosted instance of Plausible Analytics on our own Hetzner servers. Plausible is a privacy-friendly tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data.
  • Posthog: We use Posthog Cloud (EU hosting) for product analytics and session recording.
    • Cookies: Posthog sets cookies to distinguish users.
    • Session Recording: Visual recordings of user interactions are performed. All sensitive input fields are masked, meaning no personal information typed into forms is recorded.
    • Legal Basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (Consent via our Cookie Notice).

If you contact us via the provided email link (mailto), your email address and message content will be stored to process your inquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).

6. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, and restriction of processing of your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC) in Malta.
